Business Development Workshops
SCORE DC offers a series of low-cost business development workshops periodically throughout the year. These workshops will equip you with the tools needed to start or improve your business.
The workshops are arranged in sequence to provide a step-by-step process for starting and running a business. There is a nominal fee for these training workshops. The fee for full-day workshops is $60.00 and for half-day workshops it is $40.00. The Small Business Loan workshop is free. If more than one person from the same organization attends a workshop, persons other than the first pay half the normal fee.
We encourage advanced, on-line registration and payment. This allows us to plan more effectively and makes it easier to notify you in case of a change. There is a $10.00 discount for on-line registration. Registration can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the workshop and fully refunded. Fees are also fully refunded if SCORE should cancel a workshop.
Full-day workshops run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Half-day workshops generally run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The twice monthly Small Business Loan workshop is held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Please make sure you check the time when you register.
