This one-hour workshop reviews the SBA business loan guaranty programs with emphasis on Express Loans which are in the range of $5,000 to $350,000. The Community Express loan program combines financial and technical assistance to enable small and home-based business owners access to business loans instead of consumer loans. Also discussed is the new Patriot Express loan program targeted to assist active and retired military veterans and their families. Participants will receive information on eligibity requirements for loans and on the availability of counseling. After the session, participants can register for a free SCORE counseling session and register for a low-cost SCORE workshop on a number of key business topics. This workshop runs from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and is held the first and third Wednesday of each month, but not January 2, 2008. |
